Timbral were asked to provide acoustic design services for this private recording studio undergoing a refurbishment in Oxfordshire. We performed initial acoustic measurements to gauge the existing performance, undertook room acoustic modelling and calculations, and provided specifications for sound insulation and room acoustic treatment, using off-the-shelf products to stay within the Client's budget. We even received a shout-out on the Production Expert podcast for our work (episode from 18 January 2023).

The client, British-Australian composer and producer James Richmond, said of the final result, "It sounds incredible here. Thanks for all your help - truly. It has been a real pleasure making contact and working with you on this."
