We were invited to undertake sound pressure level measurements at Purified Air's factory in Romford, Essex, of their new Virus Irradiation Unit. The VIU is mobile, taking in air from the bottom, and irradiating airborne viruses before discharging the air from the top.

We took measurements of the sound pressure level of the unit at various duties, as well as background sound level and reverberation time measurements. This allowed us to provide the client with normalised acoustic data, which makes it easier for customers to perform their own analysis.
